Message for the New Year
When
you think about the entire Christian year in juxtaposition to your own life it’s
kind of interesting. From birth to death
to new life is the natural cycle in sync with Christ. In contrast to the worldly culture, what
should the turning of one year to the next mean for us spiritually?

& I didn’t go out on the town this New Year’s eve. For one thing it was TOO cold! For another reason, it was just nice to stay
in have a simple evening together and think about our year. One of the nicest
things we reflected on was how much we’ve appreciated moments of our time
together as a family. We’ve all been tempted to write a laundry list out about
all the bad things that have happened and toil, vent on what we could’ve done… but that’s not living into the lifestyle of
GRACE.
Living
into the lifestyle of GRACE is being retrospective about the past with a
healing eye and ear open to see and listen to how God shapes the path for
you. There are really scary things ahead
this coming year and we have to be prepared!
Being prepared through prayer, humility and trust that God will and has
seen us through! Love is amazing both
from God and in your family. This coming
August will make our 5th wedding anniversary.
